Per capita income decile
Two levels of income deciles were utilized in this survey - national and regional. The national percapita income decile is obtained by ranking the percapita income of sample families in the country from lowest to highest. Then tehse are compiled into ten groups. The first tenth, meaning those families with lowest per capita income, is called the first decile; then second tenth, second decile; and so on.
A similar procedure is implememnted for the regional decile, except what is arrayed is percapita income of sample households in a given region.
