2020 OWS - Part C
For all establishments covered by the survey, the OWS monitors employment and wage data for two benchmark occupations namely: (1) Accounting and Bookkeeping Clerks and (2) Unskilled Workers Except Janitors, Messengers and Freight Handlers. For other establishments, aside from the required two benchmark occupations, some monitored occupations based on the Occupational Sheets inserted in the questionnaire are likewise required to be accomplished.
Monitored Occupations - In case the establishment is engaged in any of the industries listed in Part F (page 14), an applicable occupational sheet has been inserted in the questionnaire to guide the respondent in accomplishing the form. Based on the 2012 PSOC, the occupational sheet enumerates the standard OCCUPATIONS with its respective functions/responsibilities that are relevant to the establishment. As such, the respondent is requested to provide the required data under "Monitored Occupations" ONLY for applicable occupations in the establishment based on the enclosed occupational sheet. For instance, an occupational sheet with six listed occupations means that the respondent should only provide information to at most six occupations as applicable to the establishment. For coding purposes, the respondent is requested to write the standard occupation title (as found in the occupational sheet) for which he/she is providing the required data. |
