This is a screening question to determine if an unemployed person has other job or business aside from his primary occupation during the past week. Other job/business is any gainful activity of a person which may be permanent or temporary, full time or not, aside from his primary job reported in Column 15.
If the household member did not work in his other job during the past week but actually has other job, the answer in this column is code “1”, The concept of work both for primary occupation and other job in the same. If the answer is Yes, enter code “1” in column 28, then columns 29 to 36 must be asked pertaining to that other job or business. Otherwise, the entry in column 28cshould be “2” and proceed asking the next household member.
