Description
Tenure Status of the Housing Unit and Lot
The tenure status to be recorded should be the present tenure of the housing unit at the time of visit.
Owner-like possession of house and lot means that the family may have an outstanding loan on the property such as mortgage or other real estate loan. It is also possible that the family owns or still paying installments for the house but the lot is leased on a long term basis.
