Description
Type of Outer Walls
Type of outer walls indicates the type of construction material the outer walls of the house is made of. Strong materials include galvanized iron/aluminum, tile, concrete, brick, stone and asbestos. Cogon, nipa and anahaw are considered as light materials. Examples of salvaged/makeshift materials are scrap GI sheets, planks of wood or pieces of lawanit, dilapidated boxes, etc., which are usually salvaged from burned or condemned structure.
The codes for the type of outer walls are as follows:
1 Strong materials (galvanized iron, aluminum, tile, concrete, brick stone,
asbestos)
2 Light materials (cogon, nipa, anahaw)
3 Salvaged/makeshift materials
4 Mixed but predominantly strong materials
5 Mixed but predominantly light materials
6 Mixed but predominantly salvaged materials
7 Not Applicable
