This question refers to household members aged 6 - 24 who are currently attending school. The different levels of education are as follows:
Description
Elementary Education - the first level of formal education consisting of the primary (Grades I to IV) and the intermediate (Grades V to VI or VII) level of education.
Secondary Education - the stage of formal education following the elementary education, concerned generally with four (4) years of continuing basic education including the learning of enjoyable/learning skills.
Post Secondary Education - the stage of formal education following the secondary education covering non-degree programs that may last for at least three (3) months to three years. It is concerned primarily with developing strong and appropriately trained middle-level skilled manpower possessing capabilities supportive of national development.
College Education - the stage of formal education following the secondary education, covering the programs on all courses of study leading to a bachelor degree.
Post Graduate - the stage of formal education beyond a baccalaureate degree leading to masteral or doctoral degree.
The codes provided in the questionnaire are as follows:
