Description
This expenditure group includes all expenses in acquiring recreational goods/supplies such as bicycle and playing cards, dolls and other toys, balls, golf sets, rackets, mahjong sets, chess sets, video and cassette tapes/records, etc.; musical instrument such as piano, organ, guitar, violin, etc.. It also includes expenses for recreational activities such as expenses for admission to movies/shows, cockfights, picnics, cable TV subscription etc.; memberships to hobby clubs, resorts, admission fee for basketball, boxing, circuses and fairs, expenses on discos, nightclubs, beerhouses, billiards and pools, bowling, pets and its food, visit to veterinarian, etc.
If the family member raised animals such as fighting cocks, dogs, cats, birds, fishes, etc. the amount in buying and raising the animal/s is to be included in this expenditure group.
Also included in this group are the expenditure for ornaments and orchid plants purchased including fertilizers, insecticides, charcoal and other incidental expenses in the care of plants. However, if plants are for sale they should be included in a family operational activity in section L1.
