Text
PhilHealth (National Health Insurance Program) - the national program which was established as the new and enhanced Medicare Program mandated by the National Health Insurance Act of 1995 or Republic Act 7875. This aims to provide all Filipinos financial access to quality, affordable, acceptable, available, and accessible health care services with priority to the marginalized and indigent sectors. The program is administered by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC or PhilHealth).
