Description
Text
The sample status identifies the result of interview and the current status of operation of the aquafarm. It is used to check the completeness of survey returns, in computation of response rate and consideration for sample replacement. Sample status were expalined as follows:
1 - Interview completed. Interview was successful if the aquafarm is in operation and information during TQ and SQLY were provided by the respondent.
2 - No production. This means that there was no harvest reported TQ but the aquafarm is in operation, i.e species cultured are not yet harvestable, or the aquafarm is being readied for culturing operations during the interview.
3 - Temporarily stopped operation. No culture operation during the quarter and no information was provided in TQ. Take note that even if the aquafarm is not in operation, gather the production, area harvested and price during SQLY. The SQLY may or may not have entries.
4 - Stopped operation. This is the case when the respondent stated that he/she permanently stopped operation of the aquafarm. Similarly, fill out information in SQLY, if there should be. This include conversion of aquafarm to other uses and abandoned. Transfer of ownership of the aquafarm that is in operation should be treated as change of name of operator if the new operator can be contacted.
5 - No respondent. Interview was not undertaken because there was no available respondent for the aquafarm during the period but the farm is still in operation.
6 - Others. Other cases which do not fall in the categories mentioned above.
