Short-term outputs:; 1) Tailor made stress testing model for the PDIC to diagnose the effects of exceptional but plausible shocks on the operations of large banks; 2) Tailor made failure prediction model for estimating probabilities of failure of any bank type and their corresponding impact on the deposit insurance fund through derivation of loss rates; 3) Manual on the implementation of the above models for purposes of assessing risk in individual banks; and 4) Training workshop to enable users to utilize the above models on an ongoing basis.;Long-term outcomes:; Improved ability to manage the deposit insurance fundy by the PDIC contributing to the broader objective of financial system stability. | |
