Interviewer instructions
This portion seeks to obtain information on the status of the sample household during the survey period, which should be determined by both the CDC and the field supervisor. The CDC will be the one to categorize the sample household as corn household or non-corn household during the data collection phase.
Indicate the appropriate sample status code and follow the following instructions:
For codes 10 and 20: Fill up Columns 5 and 6, then skip Column 7 and 8 and continue with the interview.
For code 51: Fill up Columns 5 and 6 and end interview
For codes 52 to 55: Fill up Columns 7 and 8 and end interview.
The CDC should be very careful in determining the status of the sample household. Always bear in mind that the data to be gathered refer to the entire household and not only to the person identified in the list of samples.
Please refer to the April 2008 round supplementary instructions included as external resources for details.
