Interviewer instructions
Enter the name of the country where the person, at the time he/she last left, stayed/intended to stay. Be specific. Do not simply accept Middle East or Europe as an answer. Refer to Appendix A to have an idea on how to report the name of the country. If during his last trip abroad, a person intended to tour several countries, ask and record only that country where he stayed for the longest duration.
In case an overseas worker is sea-based, ask for the country or nationality of the owner of the shipping line. Likewise, for airplane stewardesses, stewards, pilots and other airplane crew, ask for the nationality/country of the airline owner.
