Description
How many such pregnancy - the number of nonlive births she had, or pregnancies which resulted to miscarriage, abortion, or stillbirths (pregnancy losses)
Nonlive birth:
Stillbirth - defined as fetal death of 28 completed weeks of gestation or more. The death is indicated by the fact that after separation from its mother, the fetus does not breathe or show any evidence of life such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or of definite movement of voluntary muscles.
Abortion - popularly used to refer to induced early fetal deaths, including both those which are legal and those which are illegal. In medical usage, an abortion is the expulsion of the fetus prematurely, particularly at any time before it is capable of sustaining life.
Miscarriage - is popularly employed to refer to spontaneous or accidental termination of fetal life occurring early in pregnancy.
