Notes
The submission of termination notices to DOLE has its legal basis in Article 283 of the Philippine Labor Code which provides that "Termination of employment due to closure of establishment and reduction of workforce by employers should be made by serving a written notice to workers and the Department of Labor and Employment at least one (1) month before the intended date thereof." This provision applies to all employers of establishment or undertakings, whether for profit or non-profit.
